Themes explored include: the loss of the "American dream" as depicted in a scene inspired from "Mad Men" showing a relationship on the brink;
An imagined scene in  France ("Liberty, Equality, Fraternity: Paris metro") which evokes questions related to body image, freedom and objectification;
A grieving refugee mourning the loss of a loved one, drowned in a desperate escape from war torn Syria, (base photo credit: BJ Formento);
A humorous look at Facebook culture with vermeer's  1665 painting"Girl with a pearl earring" redux.
