I grew up in a small logging town on Vancouver Island and have lived on the west coast most of my life. After a successful career in Biotech, I'm pursuing my passion in art these days. Am grateful for the beauty of creation that surrounds us and inspired by nature and the big questions of why we are here and our various relationships with self, others and our Creator. Images that have emotional strength or spiritual depth appeal to me, as well as some just plain fun things. Art can be a vehicle to celebrate life as well as to challenge us and comment on our culture and explore age old themes of truth, justice and beauty.  I love the works of Rothko, Caravaggio and others who aren't afraid to use bold color and make use of negative space.

I'm an Active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists http://artists.ca/  and have had paintings accepted in the "Canvas Unbound", "2016 Culture" and "Icon" exhibits in the past few months at the Federation Gallery on Granville Island. Many of my paintings were also featured in the Horseshoe Bay Art Walk 2016 http://www.horseshoebayartwalk.com/index.html .

In general, my acrylic paintings are priced at $1 per square inch.

I can be found in my studio in West Vancouver, BC.
